The Rules of Dance Premier League

Dance Premier League is a unique format where all the zones in India – North, East, West, South, Central along with NRIs will compete on one national platform for Regional Pride.

More than thousands of young aspirants auditioned across 15 cities in India where celebrity judges – Shiamak Davar & Arshad Warsi along with team choreographers handpicked the final 8 contestants to be part of each team .i.e 6 teams – 48 contestants.

1. Once the team is formed, DPL will be played in the League format where each zonal team will play against the team from every other zone. Thus, in all there will be 15 League matches.

2. Each match will have 3 rounds – solo, duo and group. The tally of all 3 rounds will decide the winning zone/team in that episode.

3. The umpires will score performances in the range of Duck to 6 and the winning team will get 2 points in every episode.

4. At the end of the league matches the Top 4 teams in the points-table will qualify for the Semi-Finals. Leading the Top 2 teams who will battle it out for the magnanimous title of Rin Dance Premier League Champion in the finals.

5. Awards/ Prizes can be given during the series:

* Man of the Match: At the end of each episode to the best performer

* Most Stylish player: At the end of each episode

* Maximum 6’s: At the end of the series to the players who earned maximum 6’s

* Maximum 4’s: At the end of the series to the players who earned maximum 4’s
